The Italian lakes are spectacular! I would say my favourite is Lake Maggiore and it's possibly cheaper to visit as it's less visited than Garda and Como (this is speculation, I have no idea!) Otherwise Garda is brilliant for tiny towns to wander around and Como is great for things to do as well! Plus the agriturismo was a dream - get booking!! :) xxx
